Your Personal Invitation
Over the past few weeks, as I’ve been preparing for this year’s Personal Peace Virtual Retreat, I’ve found myself thinking about many of the women I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside over the years.
Some names came to mind almost immediately.
Yours was one of them.
I’ve watched you gently face difficult things. I’ve watched you keep showing up for yourself. I’ve watched you choose healing, even when the path wasn’t easy.
When I thought about the women I would love to share this experience with, I knew I wanted to reach out to you personally.
I know your heart. I know your courage. And I know the kind of woman you are.
(If this invitation found you through Ruth rather than through our own work together, welcome. She spoke of you with such warmth that I knew I wanted to include you in this invitation as well.)
And I’d be honored to welcome you into this circle.

Why I Thought of You
As I reflected on the women I've had the privilege of working with over the years, I noticed something they all have in common.
They care deeply.
They've spent years supporting others, carrying responsibilities, trying to hold everything together.
And somewhere along the way...many of them quietly lost touch with themselves.
I also know something else.
Healing can feel surprisingly lonely.
Many of my clients have told me that while they're grateful for how much they've grown, they often feel like they're walking this path alone. Sometimes they're the only one in their family doing this work. Sometimes their closest friends simply don't understand the changes they're experiencing. Sometimes they long for women who speak the same language of healing, growth, and self-compassion.
If that resonates with you, I want you to know you're not alone.
One of the most beautiful surprises of every retreat I've facilitated is that the healing doesn't end when our time together does.
It continues in the women.
Every retreat becomes its own little family. Women stay in touch, celebrate one another, hold space for one another, and gently remind each other who they are whenever life gets noisy again.
Those connections have become one of the greatest gifts of this experience.
My assistant, Ruth, often tells me I have a gift for "energetically curating" the women who find their way into these retreats.
I smile every time she says it because I think there's more truth to it than even she realizes.
Long before each retreat begins, I spend time quietly imagining the women who will gather. I picture them on the final day...laughing more easily, standing a little taller, feeling lighter, safer, and remembering who they are.
I hold that vision for months.
Then, one by one, the applications arrive.
And somehow, the women who need one another always seem to find their way into the same room.
Different stories.
Different lives.
And yet, by the end of our time together, they're celebrating each other's victories, holding space through the tears, and reminding one another that none of us were ever meant to carry life alone.
What Awaits You
Since we've worked together before, you'll already know that I don't follow rigid formulas.
I trust your nervous system more than any agenda.
Every retreat unfolds a little differently because every group of women is different.
Rather than following a rigid schedule, I let the wisdom in the room, the needs of the women present, and the gentle unfolding of each person's journey guide much of our time together.
You also know that I don't believe healing has to feel heavy all the time.
Yes, there will be moments of courage.
There may be tears.
There will almost certainly be laughter.
And there is always space to breathe, integrate, celebrate, and simply be.
Over four live retreat days, we'll gently explore the patterns that keep pulling you back into self-abandonment and begin replacing them with something far more sustainable...self-trust.
We'll use EFT, nervous system regulation, inner child work, guided visualizations, and compassionate reflection to help you reconnect with the parts of yourself that have been patiently waiting beneath survival mode.
You don't have to arrive knowing exactly where to begin.
You simply have to come exactly as you are.
If This Feels Like Your Season
One of the things I've learned over the years is that healing isn't something we force.
There are seasons when we gather information.
Seasons when we simply survive.
Seasons when life asks us to rest.
And then there are seasons when something inside us quietly whispers,
"I'm ready."
Perhaps you're moving through a season of change.
Perhaps you've spent so much time caring for everyone else that you've forgotten what it feels like to care for yourself.
Perhaps you're longing to trust yourself again.
Or maybe you simply miss feeling like you.
Whatever has brought you here, I want you to know that you don't have to have it all figured out before you arrive.
You don't need to be in crisis.
You don't need to be "healed enough."
You simply need a willingness to show up with curiosity and compassion.
We'll let your experience and your nervous system guide the rest.
A Few Details
The Personal Peace Virtual Retreat takes place across two immersive weekends, with a full week in between to rest, integrate, and notice what begins to shift.
Dates
September 19-20 & September 26-27, 2026
Each day includes four live sessions with spacious breaks throughout, giving your nervous system plenty of time to breathe, reflect, and integrate.
The retreat is intentionally scheduled to make it accessible for both North American and European participants.
Portugal / UK: 1:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Central Europe: 2:00 pm - 9:00 pm
US Eastern: 8:00 am - 3:00 pm
US Pacific: 5:00 am - 12:00 pm
Because this is an intentionally small group, there will be plenty of opportunities to receive personal guidance, witness others, and be witnessed yourself.
You'll never be asked to share more than feels right for you, but you'll always be warmly invited if and when you're ready.
Before we begin, we'll meet for a private one-to-one consultation so we can reconnect, answer any questions you may have, and gently explore what you're hoping to receive from our time together.
You'll also receive a beautifully designed workbook, access to our private WhatsApp group, and the support of a circle of women who will be walking alongside you throughout the experience.
Your Legacy Invitation
As I was putting this retreat together, I knew there were a handful of women I wanted to reach out to personally.
Women whose courage I've already had the privilege of witnessing.
Women whose journeys I've been honoured to be part of.
You are one of them.
Because we've already walked part of this path together, I'd love to make it as easy as possible for you to join us.
That means two things.
First, there's no need to complete the retreat application.
We've already worked together, so if this feels like the right season, you can simply reserve your place.
Second, as a small thank you for the trust you've placed in me over the years, I'd love to offer you a private legacy rate of $1,197.
That's $300 below the current public investment.
And if you choose to join The Messy Middle as an Annual Founding Member, I’ll apply the full $390 cost of your annual membership toward the current retreat tuition instead. This brings your remaining retreat investment to $1,107, while your annual membership in The Messy Middle remains fully active.
If paying over time would feel more supportive, flexible payment options are available. If you'd rather arrange a simple three-month payment plan directly with me, that's available as well.
If your heart is saying yes...
I'd be honoured to welcome you into this circle.
If you're feeling the nudge but have a question before deciding, simply reply to my email.
I'd be happy to connect.
With Love

If you've made it this far, thank you for taking the time to read this letter.
Whether this retreat becomes part of your journey or not, I hope you leave this page remembering something important...
You deserve the same compassion, care, and presence that you so freely offer everyone else.
Thank you for allowing me to walk alongside you over the years.
It has been one of the greatest privileges of my life.
Perhaps this is simply our next chapter together.
With love,
Amanda 💚
